Mom's at Work

Kessie doesn't like it when I go to work. She waits and waits. She has a few comfortable couches to sleep on. She has a private kennel to sleep in. She has a Dad who would gladly let her cuddle up with him. But today she chose a spot near the front door on top of a pair of Jim's shoes. The sign was put up weeks ago when she took to sleeping in the basket behind her (now filled with stuff). As soon as the sign was up she decided to sleep somewhere else until today. Should I make a pillow for her or would that make her not want to sleep there anymore? Your guess is as good as mine!

What a cutie she is! I think the pillow would ruin it for her. But having her laying there waiting for her mom must make you smile when you get home and are greeted with incredible excitement.

My dogs will claim every piece of fabric which is on the floor, be it a handkerchief or a sock, as their own and take a nap on it. As soon as I put a pillow or a blanket down, there they are, appreciating it very much. So, yeah, I guess she would like it there with a little comfortable pillow.

What a sweet little face! What about putting something of yours there for her - an old sweatshirt, or something else that smells like you? Might make the wait more bearable! :0)

That's awesome. So cute!

Try the "Kitty Pi" bed from Wendy Knits and see. You could always move it around the house and see if she'll try it somewhere else.

Look at those eyes - near crying! Make her pillow!

Oh my gosh, what a sweet and sad look! I'd say go for the pillow anytime, your little one deserves it!

How sweet. Layla gets pissed when I leave her and waits at the back door and cries. It's sad, but kinda funny too.

Oh, yes, Kessie, you are a cutie, and a bit of a drama queen? I like that in a girl.
