Wednesday Word

Acrimony
n.
Sharpness, bitterness or harshness of temper, manner or speech. asperity
Many would say that I speak with acrimony. Not that I am full of acrimony. I just have a sharp manner of speech. I am not acrimonious, I just sound that way. I upset many people because of this. I am constantly apoligizing.

You too, eh? I seem to have this problem too, although less now that I left the South for the socially acceptable acrimony of Philadelphia...

For what it's worth, you don't come off that way on your blog. But then again, life doesn't come with a delete key.

You don't sound acrimonious at all on your blog or in the comments you have left for me. I understand what you are saying though, I get all sorts criticism for my language style in person. Maybe I should move up north like Liz K.!
