Unfelted French Market Bag and small unplanned bag. The French Market bag was knit in 2 colours of Peer Gynt 100% wool. The unplanned bag has left over yarns. Peer Gynt wool, Lopi, and Alpaca.
I thought that this picture would turn out better but I loved being in the morning sun. It turned out to be more of a bowl than a bag but I like it.
The Peer Gynt felted really well! It is probably the best felting job that I have ever done! The bag has very floppy sides. I don't know if it is the way it should turn out or if I made an error in knitting it. It will be a good bag for carrying fruits, cheese,a baguette and a bottle of wine!
This is the bag that Rhea started on our camping trip in July. She is much too social a person to sit and knit for long but it did get done and it is felted. Good job Rhea!

Great bags. I like the split handle on Rhea's.
You could use your felted bowl-shaped bag as a knitting basket.
Those bags are making me think I may have to do some more felting when I find the time.
I have had the french market bag on my to do list for a long time. I love it. I'm glad you now have a bag to carry "fruits, cheese,a baguette and a bottle of wine!" You do that often, do you? Actually now you have me yearning for fruits, cheese,a baguette and a bottle of wine.
Or maybe just the cheese and wine. Or just the wine.
Those look great!
Twig, I wish I did have a lifestyle that would enable me to wander down to to the local Marche (market) and pick up my oh, so, french meal! Unfortunately the bag will probably only get to carry shoes and kleenexes!!
My LYS carries the Peer Gynt and I have never picked it up for a felting project. I always go straight for the Nature Wool. With your recommendation, next time, I'm going for Peer Gynt.
I love the little unplanned bag, it has great colors. And of course the other two bags are wonderful too!
oh please stop showing MORE things I'd like to do... I don't have enough hours in the day as it is..
Great bags.
Great bags! And well done, Rhea! :0)
Oooh, well done you!
I use my floppy-sided FMB for my knitting bag, and it's WONDERFUL.
The unplanned bag looks like a keeper.
Amazing bags, and yay, well done, Rhea!
